Choosing a Device: What to Look For

Brand-neutral help picking a device — panels, masks, wands, and full-body setups. The specs that matter: irradiance (mW/cm²), wavelengths (red around 660nm and near-infrared around 850nm), coverage and size for your goal, low flicker and EMF, and FDA clearance. Ask for third-party numbers, not just marketing claims. What are you comparing?

Protocols, Dosing & Eye Safety

How far, how long, how often — and staying safe. General starting points: a sensible distance per your device, roughly 10 minutes per area, a few times a week, and consistency over intensity (more isn't always better — there's a sweet spot). Red light doesn't use UV, but bright panels can bother your eyes, so use the goggles that come with your device and don't stare into it.
