Testing red light devices properly isn’t cheap, and honest comparisons mean measuring irradiance and build quality across brands rather than relying on manufacturer claims. Donations let us cover the panels, masks, wraps, and handhelds people are actually asking about, including older or discontinued models still in use today.
The red light therapy market moves fast. Panel LED counts and wavelength blends evolve every year, masks have gone from novelty to mainstream skincare, and cheap handhelds keep flooding online marketplaces with unverified claims. Older devices are surprisingly valuable to us: they let us document how irradiance, beam angle, flicker, and build quality have actually improved, or regressed, across generations.
