1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how Paradox Affiliates, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as “RedLightTherapy.com” (“Paradox Affiliates,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://redlighttherapy.com (the “Site”).

Paradox Affiliates, LLC operates this Site as an independent affiliate and content entity. Paradox Affiliates, LLC shares common ownership with Vital Red Light, a red light therapy device manufacturer, but the two are separate legal entities. This Policy governs data collected through RedLightTherapy.com only, and not data collected through Vital Red Light’s own website or products, which is governed by Vital Red Light’s own privacy policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. If you subscribe to a newsletter, leave a comment, submit a contact form, or otherwise interact with the Site, we may collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide.

Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and time spent on the Site
  • Click activity, including clicks on affiliate links to third-party retailers

Comments. If you leave a comment on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you use it; the Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, your profile picture may be publicly visible alongside your comment.

Images. If you upload images to the Site, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the Site can potentially extract location data from images that include it.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

  • Functional cookies: e.g., remembering comment details (name, email, website) if you opt in, so you don’t need to re-enter them. These last approximately one year.
  • Login cookies: if the Site has registered users, temporary cookies confirm whether your browser accepts cookies; login cookies persist for two days (two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected), and are removed upon logout. Screen display option cookies last approximately one year.
  • Editorial cookies: if you edit or publish an article on the Site, a cookie noting the post ID is set; it contains no personal data and expires after one day.
  • Analytics cookies: we use tools such as [Google Analytics / Semrush / other] to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate.
  • Affiliate tracking cookies: when you click a link to a third-party retailer from this Site, that retailer (or its affiliate network) may place a cookie to track that the referral came from RedLightTherapy.com, which is how commissions are attributed to us. These cookies are controlled by the third-party retailer or affiliate network, not by us directly.

4. Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this Site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles from other websites). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website directly. Those third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content — including tracking your interaction if you are logged into an account on that third-party site.

6. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

If you request a password reset (where accounts exist on this Site), your IP address will be included in the reset email.

  • Comments and their associated metadata are generally retained indefinitely, so that legitimate follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically rather than held in a moderation queue.
  • If the Site supports user registration, registered users’ profile information is retained while the account is active. Users can review, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their username); Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
  • We retain other data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.

  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service, which may involve transferring comment data to that service’s servers, potentially outside your country of residence. Our hosting and analytics providers may similarly process or store data outside your country of residence.
