Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 7/7/2026 Last Updated: 7/7/2026
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how Paradox Affiliates, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as “RedLightTherapy.com” (“Paradox Affiliates,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://redlighttherapy.com (the “Site”).
Paradox Affiliates, LLC operates this Site as an independent affiliate and content entity. Paradox Affiliates, LLC shares common ownership with Vital Red Light, a red light therapy device manufacturer, but the two are separate legal entities. This Policy governs data collected through RedLightTherapy.com only, and not data collected through Vital Red Light’s own website or products, which is governed by Vital Red Light’s own privacy policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. If you subscribe to a newsletter, leave a comment, submit a contact form, or otherwise interact with the Site, we may collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide.
Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and time spent on the Site
- Click activity, including clicks on affiliate links to third-party retailers
Comments. If you leave a comment on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you use it; the Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, your profile picture may be publicly visible alongside your comment.
Images. If you upload images to the Site, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the Site can potentially extract location data from images that include it.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:
- Functional cookies: e.g., remembering comment details (name, email, website) if you opt in, so you don’t need to re-enter them. These last approximately one year.
- Login cookies: if the Site has registered users, temporary cookies confirm whether your browser accepts cookies; login cookies persist for two days (two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected), and are removed upon logout. Screen display option cookies last approximately one year.
- Editorial cookies: if you edit or publish an article on the Site, a cookie noting the post ID is set; it contains no personal data and expires after one day.
- Analytics cookies: we use tools such as [Google Analytics / Semrush / other] to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate.
- Affiliate tracking cookies: when you click a link to a third-party retailer from this Site, that retailer (or its affiliate network) may place a cookie to track that the referral came from RedLightTherapy.com, which is how commissions are attributed to us. These cookies are controlled by the third-party retailer or affiliate network, not by us directly.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.
4. Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on this Site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles from other websites). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website directly. Those third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content — including tracking your interaction if you are logged into an account on that third-party site.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- Respond to comments, inquiries, or support requests;
- Send newsletters or updates, if you’ve opted in;
- Analyze Site traffic and content performance;
- Detect and prevent spam, fraud, or abuse;
- Attribute affiliate referrals so commissions are properly credited;
- Comply with legal obligations.
6. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site (e.g., hosting providers, analytics providers, email service providers), who are authorized to use your data only as needed to provide services to us;
- Affiliate networks and retailers, to the extent necessary to attribute a referral or purchase originating from this Site;
- Spam detection services, which may automatically check visitor comments;
- Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.
If you request a password reset (where accounts exist on this Site), your IP address will be included in the reset email.
7. How Long We Retain Data
- Comments and their associated metadata are generally retained indefinitely, so that legitimate follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically rather than held in a moderation queue.
- If the Site supports user registration, registered users’ profile information is retained while the account is active. Users can review, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their username); Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
- We retain other data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- Request correction of inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legitimate administrative, legal, or security retention needs;
- Opt out of non-essential cookies and marketing communications.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA). If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11 below.
9. Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Where Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service, which may involve transferring comment data to that service’s servers, potentially outside your country of residence. Our hosting and analytics providers may similarly process or store data outside your country of residence.
