A professional-grade LED therapy panel that treats acne, reduces wrinkles, and relieves pain using blue, red, and near-infrared light.

Celluma PRO is made by BioPhotas, Inc., a medical device company founded by Patrick Johnson in 2011 and headquartered in Tustin, California. The company builds its Celluma line of LED light therapy devices around a flexible, shape-conforming panel design, using a combination of blue, red, and near-infrared light targeted at acne, aging skin, and pain management. The brand’s devices are sold in nearly 100 countries.

Our Review

I picked up the Celluma PRO mainly for joint pain, but I ended up using it on my face too since it wraps around instead of sitting flat. I run it about three times a week, usually the pain relief setting on my knee and the anti-aging setting on my face, thirty minutes each session. It took a solid two to three months before I noticed real changes. My skin evened out and looked smoother, and the joint pain calmed down enough that I stopped reaching for ibuprofen as often. My husband uses the same device for his shoulder, which is honestly the best part, one panel covers a few different problems in the house. The downside is the price. It’s a serious investment, and I did notice some dryness on my face early on that went away once I cut back to every other day. I also looked into returning it during the first week because I wasn’t sure it was working yet, and the return policy was more of a headache than I expected, restocking fees and all. If you’re patient and consistent with it, it does deliver, but don’t expect overnight results and go in knowing the return window isn’t forgiving.

Final Verdict

Celluma PRO is a legitimate, FDA-cleared red light therapy device with real dermatologist backing and a loyal long-term user base, particularly for people managing both skin concerns and pain in the same household. The flexible design is a genuine differentiator over rigid panels, but it comes at a steep price, and that cost isn’t matched by a return policy that makes buyers feel protected if it doesn’t work for them. Results are real for many users, but not universal, and patience is required, most people report waiting two to three months before seeing change. It’s a solid pick for someone who wants a multi-purpose device and is comfortable with the investment and the wait, but not the easiest recommendation for someone who wants fast results or an easy way out if it’s not a fit.
