The EMR-TEK Firedragon is built for someone who has moved beyond treating one small area at a time and wants a large red light therapy system for regular home use. Its size allows much broader areas of the torso, back, and legs to be exposed at once, while its combination of traditional LEDs and high-powered COB modules gives it a different approach to light delivery than a conventional LED-only panel.
The tradeoff is that the Firedragon asks for commitment. It takes up space, produces heat, costs considerably more than a targeted panel, and makes the most sense when it can stay set up in a dedicated area. Someone treating only a knee, shoulder, face, or another small area simply does not need this much equipment.
The biggest improvement over a smaller panel is how much less repositioning is required. Treating the back, torso, and legs with a compact light can turn one routine into several separate sessions. The Firedragon exposes much larger sections of the body at once.
